DuraWeld Pro Gabions
Our DuraWeld Pro Gabions are manufactured in Germany under strict quality control procedures using state of the art manufacturing technology. Our Pro gabion line is manufactured with larger gauge wire in rectangular patterns and are coated with a high level of aluminized zinc known as galfan for longer term durability. Our Pro gabion line includes several styles of gabions. We have our baskets with the patented Monotec attachment mechanism, baskets built for load and lift installation, baskets for veneer applications with mounting brackets, and a gabion basket fence system.
GabionSupply is pleased to offer our DW-Pro R-Baskets, made of electro-spot-welded, steel wire mesh grids with the patented MonotecR curved and welded eyelets and locking rods to create a locking assembly method for easy assembly with clean lines and no sharp protrusions. The DW-Pro Baskets have a rectangular grid pattern that is aesthetically pleasing. Like all of our DW-Pro gabion systems the baskets are coated with a ZnAl coating with 95% Zinc and 5% Aluminum allowing the baskets to pass the min. 3,000 hour salt spray testing in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9227-NSS.

The DuraWeld Pro Fence system comes in two thicknesses and the length and height of the panels can be adjusted. The rectangular grid pattern provides an aesthetically pleasing look while allowing smaller fill material to be used in the fence units. Like all of our DW-Pro gabion systems the baskets are coated with a ZnAl coating with 95% Zinc and 5% Aluminum allowing the baskets to pass the min. 3,000 hour salt spray testing in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9227-NSS.

Our DW-Pro Baskets for Load and Lift are made of electro-spot-welded, steel wire mesh grids designed to be filled off site utilizing a vibratory table. The Load and Lift baskets are then transported to the site and can even be installed into place directly from the truck depending on the site parameters. The heavy diameter, rectangular grid pattern, and lifting loops that are welded in multiple points to the side grids means the baskets can be filled and transported and placed while maintaining their integrity. Like all of our DW-Pro gabion systems the baskets are coated with a ZnAl coating with 95% Zinc and 5% Aluminum allowing the baskets to pass the min. 3,000 hour salt spray testing in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9227-NSS.
Applications:
Great for applications with limited site access as the baskets can be filled off site. Including shoreline protection, highway construction, commercial retaining walls.
Also perfect for applications where minimal environmental disruption is required due to less time and storage requirements on site.
And of course great for projects when labor is in short supply and deadlines still have to be met.
Perfect option when weather in your region can be problematic. The gabions can be filled offsite and even in a warehouse allowing you to move forward on your project by filling the gabions and having them ready to go when the weather is favorable for site installation.
